Bemowo

In the summer of 2017, two young music enthusiasts met in a place well‑known to Warsaw youth. It was a Bemowo basement, rented by teenagers for birthday parties. After a short conversation, Gerard and Dister decided to establish F‑Light Studio together. The inspiration for this name was their own flight, relaxed atmosphere, and the fact that not a bit of daylight reached the studio. Both friends had a wide range of different skills. One ‑ a sensible analyst with rare technical skills in this generation, was renting the place. The other ‑ a born artist developing his stage career, was soon to bring the first clients to the newly established studio.

F‑Light was a temple of artistic freedom for everyone who appeared there. From the beginning, along with the neighborhood crew, the basement was visited daily by Jendri, also known as IDEA ‑ an artist from the trap movement, who is still part of the team today.

Within the first 10 months of operation, the Bemowo basement was visited by icons of the dynamically developing Warsaw trap scene. Malik Montana, Kaz Bałagane, Smolasty, OLEK, DMN, Frosti and Berson, Wiktor from WWA, Młody Dron, Uki Grajda, 2020 (SOSO), Tommy Lolo, but also Alcomindz, White Widow and many, many others. For most, it was a moment of carefree music play, and although F‑Light had amateur conditions, everyone remembered Bemowo as a place with character.

City Center

In June 2018, the residents of nearby apartment blocks had enough of the night‑time noise caused by party and studio activities in their neighborhood. It was time to move F‑Light's operations elsewhere. After long weeks of searching, a space in the Capitol Theatre building was chosen. This is how the stage of building a legendary brand of a recording studio began, bringing together the entire underground trap scene, the world of influencers, and the strict leaders of Polish mainstream artists.

The requirements of the building managers were restrictive for entrepreneurs operating in the artistic industry ‑ entry was allowed only until 10 PM, with the security guard's permission. This state of affairs repeatedly resulted in amusing situations, as these restrictions were usually creatively bypassed. Many times cheerful crews passed through the studio, when the recording process was just an addition.

The quality of services provided in relation to competitive prices provided Gerard and Dister with plenty of working hours every day. During three years of consistent development in the second location, three key links joined the F‑Light team, which we now call Flightcore: a young virtuoso of music production ‑ Emkaix, a digital technology genius ‑ Samiryi, and a multi‑instrumentalist from music school ‑ Sosad. The studio on Marszałkowska Street had its unique atmosphere, and the events that took place there remain in the heads and hearts of thousands of people who visited this modest and specific, yet magical place.

Building Flightcore

The natural consequence of the growing demand for recordings at F‑Light was the idea of moving the location to a more spacious place. Finding the right space wasn't easy ‑ we needed a place that would be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with high ceilings, and in a neighborhood where noise wouldn't disturb residents of nearby buildings. After many months of searching, fate wanted Gerard and Dister to move the company right across from their university, opposite the Warsaw Film School.

Gerard and Samiryi faced the task of designing and building an authentic, professional recording studio in the true sense. This time, the goal wasn't just acoustic adaptation of the rooms ‑ in accordance with proper standards, all studio rooms were built from scratch. The construction process took over a year, and many adversities had to be overcome along the way. Three floods, a crisis in the construction market, and daily work with rock wool, of which more than 8 tons were used to create the studio.

Fortunately, after more than a dozen months of construction, the first version of the website could be launched along with the booking platform ‑ after practically a year of absence on the map, the team returned to the music business.

Żoliborz

Today, Flightcore consists of three sound studios located on a total area of 154m². Third time's the charm ‑ although the current company headquarters is located underground, this time a solid dose of sunlight comes inside. To celebrate the fruits of consistent, many years of grinding, today's name refers to the solid work ethic that prioritizes development and full focus on fulfilling even the most distant vision. Currently, we are in a position we dreamed of many years ago. However, we are aware that this is just a certain stage of our journey, which is why we don't rest on our laurels. The level of goals we set increases proportionally to the number of satisfied clients.

We are known for providing a modern, clean sound, and our recording engineers also include talented producers and songwriters. It is precisely the wide range of qualifications of our team that makes all recordings made at Flightcore have high quality ‑ both in technical understanding and in terms of the artists' performance. Our engineers often share their insights with the vocalist, giving immediate feedback from the listener's perspective ‑ this is a very important factor in the music production process.

That's why we take a comprehensive approach to all projects and help at every stage of creation ‑ from writing lyrics and production, through recording and arrangement, to mixing/mastering the track.
